Whiff of Joy Guest Designer Spotlight - Karen Yates

"Hi, my name is Karen, from Karen's Craft Space. I'm from Turners Beach, Tasmania (the little Island at the bottom) - Australia.

I've just turned 34 and I'm a Stay At Home Mum to my almost 15 month old (OMGOSH) Baby girl, Ruby. I have been crafting all my life but only serious card making since January this year, when I started my Blog. My first Whiff of Joy Stamp is "Willow with Cookies "which I only purchase about 3 weeks ago!! Love her!! My favourite things to craft with are Pretty Papers, Gorgeous Stamps, Flowers and Glitter. I am learning how to use Copics (with a little help from my Blog Buddy - Kylie Kueter) and I also love to water colour with Distress Inks!!

I love crafting and blogging and making new friends!! I'm very honoured to be picked as a Guest for Whiff of Joy!!!"

"Hallo, mein Name ist Karen, von Karens Crafting Space". Ich lebe in Tasmanien, Australien. Ich wurde gerade 34 und bin glückliche Hausfrau und Mutter von einem fast 15 Monate alten Mädchen (Ruby). Ich bastle schon mein Leben lang. Kartenbasteln entdeckte ich aber erst im Jänner 2010, als ich meinen Blog gestartet habe.

Mein erster Stempel von Whiff of Joy ist "Willow mit Keksen", den ich erst vor ca. 3 Wochen gekauft habe!! Ich liebe sie!! Meine liebsten Bastelutensilien sind schöne Papiere, niedliche Stempel, Blumen und Glitzer. Ich bin gerade dabei zu lernen mit Copics zu colorieren (mit Hilfe meiner Blogging Freundin Kylie). Ich coloriere aber auch gerne mit Distress Inks.

Ich liebe es zu Basteln, zu Bloggen und neue Freunde zu finden! Es ist mir eine Freude als Gast Designerin für Whiff of Joy tätig sein zu dürfen."
